The competition was organized by the Mountaineering Federation of North Macedonia on Mount VODNO in the period from 26.09 to 28.09.2025.

The Macedonian national team was represented by 8 teams in 4 categories.
The Serbian national team was represented by 8 teams in 4 categories.
The Slovenian national team was represented by 7 teams in 4 categories.
The Croatian national team was represented by 3 teams in 2 categories.
The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by 1 team in 1 category.
The Montenegrin national team was represented by 3 teams in 2 categories.
The gathering of participants for the Balkan Mountaineering Orienteering Championship was on September 26, 2025 in “GOCE DELCHEV” dormitory, where participants from all countries were accommodated.
Competitors 133 and organizers, guides 36 = TOTAL 169.
The openning ceremony of the Championship took place at 6 pm. After dinner, the night competition took place from 9 pm to 12 pm. The start and finish were at the Red Cross Dare Bombol resort in Vodno. The trails were in the vicinity of the Red Cross resort. Trail lengths ranged from 4 to 7 kilometers. Number of checkpoints from 4 to 9 and elevation difference from 100 to 300 meters. After the competition, the teams returned to the dormitory.
On 27.09.2025, the daily competition was held starting at 10:00. The start and finish were at the Red Cross Dare Bombol resort. Depending on the category, the length of the route ranged from 7 to 11 kilometers air line. The number of control points was from 10 to 20, and elevation difference from 250 to 450 meters. There was practical knot tying for all teams at the control point.
The estimated time for completing the course was until 3 p.m. The weather was cloudy with occasional wind. The competitions took place at an altitude of 660 to 1070 meters above sea level.
On September 28, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., was held the closing ceremony. On the ceremony the team rankings were announced, and the first-place teams were awarded trophies.
